Yulex® KOA Natural Rubber Emulsion Compound System
Our Vulcanize-On-Demand, Potassium Hydroxide base emulsion is an emulsion for all dipped, cast, threaded, sprayed, foamed or sheeted medical device applications. Traditional prevulcanized latex emulsions have a very short life span because they arrive premixed. The time-clock starts when it’s manufactured, not at the point of receipt. The Yulex KOA system was specifically developed for manufacturers that demand total control over the initiation of prevulcanization and want to maximize pot-life. The Yulex KOA system allows manufacturers to initiate the vulcanization time clock when they want to start manufacturing. In addition, the Yulex KOA system can be warehoused for over two years with no reduction in physical performance of manufactured products.
